What are we learning this week / ¿Qué estamos aprendiendo esta semana?

• 🔢 Math: Fractions! We are reviewing fractions before we get into equivalent fractions.
• 💃 Spanish: We are looking at the different parts of a tale. We will now turn into the writing phase. 
• 📚 English: We learned about the Acrostic poem and will be completing the poetry booklet in the next few days.
• 🔬 Science: We completed the first part of the chemistry unit.  A short quiz is scheduled for February 2. We are now growing crystals to start off the second part of the unit.
• 🔎 Social Studies: We are critically examining the ways of life of Indigenous Peoples in Canada. Students are learning about the way of life of Indigenous Peoples in the Cordillera Region - Northwest Coastal People.
• 🏀 Physical Education and Wellness: We are learning to play badminton and tennis.
