We will be announcing the winner of the contest by March 24, 2023.

Minecraft Challenge: Grade 5 will be participating in Level Up Calgary! Deadline to submit the challenge is April 10.

THIS WEEK IN REVIEW / ESTA SEMANA APRENDIMOS...

• 🔢 Math: Students learned to order decimals, estimation of sums and differences with decimals, addition and subtraction of decimals.
• 💃 Spanish: Students read four different books to practice ´diptongos e hiatos´. 
• 📚 English: We started a new round of literacy circles and reviewed how to summarize a reading passage with the SWBST strategy. 
• 🍁 Social Studies: We are critically examining the ways of life of Indigenous Peoples in Canada. We will be discussing about the importance of storytelling and oral traditions, the Red River Cart and the Sash. 
• ❤️‍🩹 Wellness: Students are learning about the effects of perseverance and resilience on wellbeing.
