This week, students are learning a simple mindful gratitude exercise by reflecting on the things in their lives they are grateful for.
The Week Ahead
- ELAL – We will read the first 8 chapters of the novel Amal Unbound by Aisha Saaed.
- Math – We are reviewing how to do rounding up to a hundred thousands (centenas de millar). A must needed skill before introducing the topic about estimation.
- Social Studies – We are examining critically the physical features of Canada. Students are researching about the landforms of a region and will produce a Travel Brochure to attract tourists to the assigned region.
- Science – We are learning about the different layers of the atmosphere, the factors that influence weather and the factors that affect air temperature.
- Spanish – We will review adjectives to describe your favourite animal.
