Esta semana hemos seguido repasando para el Concierto de Primavera. We are excited about our upcoming performances on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Can't wait to welcoming you! Srta. Primak and the students have put together an amazing show!

THE WEEK AHEAD / ESTA SEMANA ESTAMOS APRENDIENDO...
- 🔢 Math: Students learned to order decimals, estimation of sums and differences with decimals, addition and subtraction of decimals. We will be completing our unit by the end of this week with an assessment.
- 💃 Spanish: Students reviewed ´diptongos, hiatos y triptongs,´ and learned new vocabulary in preparation for our last activities for this unit (reading and writing).
- 📚 English: Students will be introduced to the biography, the next expository writing we will be working on. Students continue with the second week of the Literacy Circle.
- 🍁 Social Studies: Students are examining Métis culture and way of life. The last project will be related to the Red River Cart.
- ❤️🩹 Wellness: Students learned about the effects of perseverance and resilience on wellbeing. The also learned how the Medicine Wheel teaches us that wellbeing is about having a balance life in the 4 dimensions of one's self. Then, they worked on setting up some positive words (learnings from the Buffalo 🦬) that will help them to achieve their goals and overcome challenges.
