¡CONGRATULATIONS to all the students who participated in the Open House on Thursday, January 12! You did a fantastic job and demonstrated extraordinary pride and leadership skills.

THIS WEEK IN REVIEW
- π’ Math: We have started our geometry unit about transformations, looking at the translation of shapes. Next week, we will working on rotations.
- π Spanish: Today we look at common adverbs of place and we will continue working on this topic for the next two weeks.
- π English: We continue with the poetry unit. This week we learned about poetic structures and actually writing poetry! Students wrote their first couplet poem.
- π¬ Science: We continued we the unit about chemistry. Students are learning about the Scientific Method, so we can start doing experiments next week!
- π Social Studies: We will become anthropologists the critically examine the ways of life of Indigenous Peoples in Canada.
- π Physical Education and Wellness: We played handball and next week we will be playing Kin Ball.
