Class Update - January 17

Hola familias,

THE WEEK AHEAD

• 🔢 Math: We are working on rotations. Next, will be reflections.
• 💃 Spanish: Today we look at common adverbs of place and we will continue working on this topic for the next two weeks. We have started guided reading! Students who are not reading with the teacher, are working in literacy centres.
• 📚 English: We continue with the poetry unit and students have wrote a couplet and a limerick poem. We have also started guided reading and will soon head into Literacy Circles.
• 🔬 Science: We continued we the unit about chemistry. Students will be working on separation of mixtures.
• 🔎 Social Studies: We are critically examining the ways of life of Indigenous Peoples in Canada. 
• 🏀 Physical Education and Wellness: We are with doing different games using the Omnikin ball, which present a great challenge for balancing.
